When Yoga Dining Club launched in 2019, every class, workshop, and gathering happened in person at our Los Angeles studio. The online membership is built around three pillars: live virtual classes, an on-demand recording library, and a members-only community platform. Live classes run seven days a week and include morning yoga flows, evening restorative sessions, weekend cooking demonstrations, monthly nutrition Q&A panels, and seasonal wellness challenges. Every live session is recorded and added to our on-demand library within twenty-four hours, so if you cannot attend in real time, you never miss a thing. What You Get Access To
Live Virtual Yoga Classes: Maya and her team of certified instructors lead live classes via Zoom throughout the week. The weekly schedule includes Monday and Wednesday morning vinyasa flow at seven o'clock Pacific, Tuesday and Thursday evening yin and restorative at six-thirty Pacific, Saturday morning all-levels flow at nine Pacific, and Sunday evening meditation and breathwork at five Pacific. Each class runs forty-five to sixty minutes. You can see the instructor, receive real-time alignment cues, and ask questions in the chat. Camera-on participation is encouraged but entirely optional, so you can practice in whatever state feels comfortable.
Live Cooking Demonstrations: Every other Saturday at eleven in the morning Pacific time, Maya hosts a live cooking demonstration from her home kitchen. These sessions are interactive and casual: she prepares a full meal in real time, explains the nutritional reasoning behind ingredient choices, offers substitution ideas for dietary restrictions, and answers questions from the chat as she cooks. Past demonstrations have covered topics ranging from weeknight one-pot meals to elaborate holiday platters, and the recipe for each session is sent to members in advance so they can cook along if they choose. The demonstrations average seventy-five minutes and are always available on-demand afterward.
Nutrition Q&A Panels: Once a month, Maya is joined by a guest expert for a sixty-minute live panel discussion and open Q&A. Past guests have included registered dietitians specializing in plant-based nutrition, Ayurvedic practitioners, gut health researchers, sports nutritionists who work with professional athletes, and cookbook authors. Members submit questions in advance or ask them live during the session. You can filter for fifteen-minute morning stretches, thirty-minute lunch break flows, full sixty-minute classes, cooking demonstrations by cuisine type, or nutrition talks by topic. Recipe Library: In addition to the video content, paid members gain access to our curated digital recipe library, which contains over two hundred and fifty original recipes developed by Maya. Many of our current paid members started here and upgraded after attending their first live class.
Essential Membership at twenty-nine dollars per month: The Essential tier is our most popular plan and includes unlimited access to all live yoga classes, full access to the live cooking demonstrations, the complete on-demand recording library with recordings available for thirty days after each session, the digital recipe library, full community forum participation including posting and messaging, and a ten percent discount on all in-person workshops and retreats. Essential members also receive a weekly email digest highlighting new content, upcoming sessions, and community highlights.
Premium Membership at fifty-nine dollars per month: The Premium tier includes everything in Essential plus unlimited permanent access to the entire on-demand archive with no thirty-day window, access to the monthly nutrition Q&A panels with guest experts, enrollment in the buddy system for paired accountability, participation in monthly wellness challenges with prizes, a fifteen percent discount on in-person events, and one free guest pass per quarter so you can invite a friend or family member to experience a live class. Premium members also receive priority response when they post questions in the community forum.
VIP Membership at ninety-nine dollars per month: The VIP tier is for members who want the deepest possible engagement with Yoga Dining Club from a distance. It includes everything in Premium plus a monthly thirty-minute private video consultation with Maya covering personalized yoga practice guidance, nutrition questions, or wellness goal setting. VIP members also receive early access to retreat registration, a twenty percent discount on all in-person events, a quarterly wellness gift box mailed to their door containing items like artisan teas, small-batch spice blends, and wellness journals, and their name in our supporter acknowledgments on the website. This tier is limited to fifty members at any given time to ensure Maya can provide meaningful personal attention.
Technology and Accessibility
We designed the online membership to be as simple and accessible as possible. Live classes are hosted on Zoom, which works on laptops, tablets, and smartphones and requires no special software beyond the free Zoom app. The on-demand library and recipe collection are hosted on our password-protected member portal, which is a responsive website that works on any modern browser. There is no app to download and no complicated setup process. When you join, you receive a welcome email with your login credentials, a quick-start guide, and a link to a five-minute orientation video that walks you through the platform.
For members with slower internet connections, we offer audio-only versions of all yoga classes that can be downloaded for offline practice. Cooking demonstrations include downloadable PDF recipe cards so you can follow along even if your video stream is interrupted. Closed captions are available on all on-demand recordings, and we are actively working on adding Spanish-language subtitles to our most-viewed content based on member requests.
